Stay At Home Mom

When I was little and asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, it was always a killer whale trainer or zoologist- Never June Cleaver. But, that was before I became a Wife and a Mommy.

So, the first week of staying at home has been simply amazing! It's everything I wanted and more. I get to cuddle every morning with my beautiful little boy and I never miss out on his silly faces or endless giggles. Our house is clean and I'm satisified knowing there's a homecooked meal on the table for the family when Wes gets home from work. For once in a long time, I feel whole, content and truly happy.

Sadly, I know this is only a temporary adventure. I'll have to go back to work when unemployment runs out. So, for now, I'm going to spend my days cherishing the time and soak it all up, and I'm happy to be able to check another item off my bucket list.
