The Mass is still there

Well, after 3 weeks of antibiotics and steroids, the mass is still there. It hasn't gotten any smaller, but it hasn't grown either. So, that is a good thing.
They're going to schedule him for another MRI to see if it has grown in areas that they aren't able to fully see with the camera. And, he'll most likely need to have surgery to remove as much as they can. This time will be a little different. He'll have to stay at least one night in the hospital so they can monitor the swelling and make sure his airway stays open. So, for now, it's still a waiting game...
