So far, this year has been a busy one.
Landon turned 4 years old, and we celebrated with an Incredibles themed birthday party. We lucked out with awesome weather, and he had a great time with all of his friends! Unfortunately, being 4 years old also brought on a new level of stubborness, and we've been battling his new found independence. After all, he is four now and doesn't need to listen to Mom & Dad.... oh boy, I can't wait for the teenage years!

Work is work. We're both happy to have jobs that pay the bills & put food on the table. I know a lot of people aren't able to say that these days. However, we both work an hour away from home. It scares me for both of us to be so far from Landon on a daily basis. What if he gets hurt or gets sick? What if there's a major earthquake? A lot of what ifs going on in that department of life right now.
Health wise, we've all been battling this random cold (along with the rest of Southern California). It's not bad, but the cough has been lingering and it's getting annoying :) It's not bad enough to see the doctor, though. So that's good news!
I have plans to work on my photography a little more, and if you want to check out my progress, I have a blog dedicated to just that http://www.tierraharperphotography.blogspot.com/
And that's pretty much it! I hope 2011 is treating you well!

Hey T,
I completely understand your worries about working an hour away from Landon. We live an hour away from home and we really don't like it. It's hard on us and hard on our cars. We found a daycare for E that's ten minutes from Brandon's work so we feel a little better about that. Although, I wish I could get paid to just stay home and hang out with her haha:) I'm sure you and Wes can work something out with being closer to L? I hope you can :) just know you aren't alone! Work is definitely work and it's hard at times to want to go in. Maybe one day you can take photography to the next level and turn your passion into a career? That would be awesome!
