So, as mentioned before, this is the first year that Landon fully understands the concept of Santa Claus. Not to worry, we are also teaching him that it's Jesus' birthday. But, this year is quite exciting because it means that I get to be a little kid all over again and watch the wonder and excitement that Landon is experiencing. The tree is decorated, presents wrapped, gingerbread houses built, cookies ready for Santa and Carrots ready for the reindeer.
We even have a magic key for Santa to get in to our house (since we don't have a chimney, of course). Santa threw it to him during the parade at Disneyland (or it came from my sister and I dropped it in his lap when he was looking the other way).
I am pretty sure that I'm more excited than he is.
I will say that being "Santa" is a LOT harder than I thought it would be. Hiding presents, wrapping in different paper, making sure you get what he asks for and most importantly- making sure he doesn't see us put the presents under the tree. I'm gonna be one exhausted Mama after this!
