My favorite time of year

The holidays are so close, I can almost smell them!
Halloween is a month away, closely followed by Thanksgiving and then Christmas. YAY! I'm terribly excited.

Landon decided he wanted to be Iron Man this year. Again, I'm sad that I had to buy a boy's costume instead of toddler, and that he chose a superhero instead of a cuddly lion, cute pirate or a squishy dragon. Honestly, I was pushing for him to be Peter Pan this year... even tried bribing him with the fact that Peter Pan carries a sword. There's no tricking him. Iron Man it is.

This is also the first year that Landon fully understands the Santa concept. He tells me what he wants to ask Santa for, and when we're playing, he tells me I have to go to sleep so Santa can come... I can't wait for Christmas!

On a side note, I once read that a person's favorite season is usually the one that their birth month falls in. I was born in November, so it holds true for me that Fall is my absolute fave. What about you?
