The Happiest Place On Earth

Yep. Took Landon for his first visit to Disneyland! (Courtesy of a good friend from high school).

He had a lot of fun! We went to California Adventure and went on the Monsters Inc ride. I thought it was going to be too dark and loud for him, but he STILL talks about it. And we went on a little kid's ride that goes up in the air and spins around (kinda like the hot air balloons in Camp Snoopy at Knott's.) Made Mommy really dizzy.

Went to Disneyland and he ran around Toon Town with Kaycee and played at the petting zoo. We watched a parade (which he loved), and went on Jungle Cruise and Pirates of the Caribbean (which he didn't love so much). The drop in the dark and the scary pirates kinda scared him.

And that was pretty much it. At one year old, 5 1/2 hours is about all he can handle before going into a meltdown. He slept VERY good that night!

Oh- his babysitter is going good, too. He cries a little when I drop him off in the morning, but he goes through his phases of that anywaay.
